CHILDREN AND TEENS

Many different factors can lead children to experiences of anxiety, depression, and difficulty in school.

Our counsellors help children and teens express emotions and understand the pressures that may be causing problems.

Many parents have found relief in knowing that their kids have a safe place to work through the struggles they are facing.

Our counsellors have many years of experience working with children and teens. They use play and art therapy, family systems, and narrative therapy to guide children to better well-being.

HOW WE CAN HELP

WE HELP PARENTS, CHILDREN AND TEENS, COUPLES, AND INDIVIDUALS. WE CAN HELP YOU TOO.

COUPLES

Relationships are hard work to nurture and maintain. Often, conflict between couples can lead to breakdowns in communication and trust.

Many couples seek help from our therapists to restore and repair their relationship. We help the couple understand what led them to this point and what might be necessary to renew a thriving relationship.

Our therapists work with each person individually to gain perspective and then bring the couple together to identify the strengths and challenges that the relationship faces.

INDIVIDUALS

Many people try to shoulder the weight of their problems on their own. Sometimes the weight becomes too heavy and they struggle in times of crisis.

We can help you process and work through what you are facing and find helpful ways of dealing with it.

Many clients reflect that they wish they had spoken to someone sooner about the issues they are trying to work through.

Arbour Therapists are trained to guide you with compassion and integrity so that you will find healthy ways to address your situation.

GROUP & INDIVIDUAL SUPERVISION

Support Groups

If you are a professional counsellor looking to maintain a healthy process of supervision among peers, consider joining an Arbour supervision group.  Or schedule individual supervision sessions tailored to your own needs.

Facilitated by one of our experienced supervisors, we help you process the practical and ethical realities of counselling.

With oversight by an accredited Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Supervisor (RMFT-S) with the Canadian Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT), we offer exceptional supervision which will help you have greater confidence in your work.
