Asian Canadian Mental Health
Asian Canadians face significant mental health inequities that often go unnoticed. Even though they report levels of psychological distress comparable to other populations, many Asian communities underutilize mental health services due to persistent structural, cultural, and systemic barriers. This gap does not indicate a lack of need; rather, it reflects a deficiency in accessible, culturally relevant resources and trusted pathways to care.
